Meet Dr. Rafii
Dr. Rafii is a Fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon with passion for providing the highest level of patient care. He is dedicated to educating and treating each patient in order to develop a patient specific treatment plan. His goal is to leave each patient in better condition than when they came in.
Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Dr. Rafii graduated California State University Northridge with a Bachelor degree in Biology while minoring in Business administration. He then went on to receive a certificate in Business Administration. Upon completion of his undergraduate education, he went on to receive his doctorate degree from Samuel Merritt University, California School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his foot & ankle surgical residency at the prestigious Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center at the busiest level one trauma center in the region. He graduated as a division of plastic surgery with an emphasis on limb salvage, reconstructive surgery, and trauma.
His Fellowship training was completed at Virginia Foot and Ankle Surgical Associates in Virginia. He was trained to treat a large array of complex foot and ankle ailments including but not limited to; arthritis, tendonitis, bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, ankle sprains, flat/cavus foot reconstruction, microsurgical nerve repair and charcot deformity correction. He is also skilled in ankle arthroscopy as well as minimally invasive surgery techniques.
Outside of podiatric practice, Dr. Rafii enjoys the outdoors where he hikes and jogs. His recent travels include trips to Washington where he hiked a portion of Mt. Rainier, and Hawaii where he has frequented a majority of the islands. He has a passion for automotive modification in his free time. Regardless of a busy schedule he will make time for cardiovascular activity, keeping body and mental health in mind as a cornerstone of his daily routine.
